Manage Mental Fatigue

You spend your days solving problems, making decisions, and absorbing a relentless stream of information. The result, almost invariably, is mental fatigue.
In and of itself, mental fatigue isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Dropping into your easy chair at the end of a productive day can feel pretty darn good, even when you’re too drained to revel in it.
But things build. Pressure. Over the weeks, you begin wondering how you’ll make it past hump day. And that’s okay, because there’s an answer.
One of the most effective “reset” methods available is (nope, not the gym) the door.
Get on the other side of it. Take a walk in nature in the middle of the workday. Quiet the “heavy mental” show going on in your head.
Recalibrate focus, disperse the riot, and restore cognitive capacity. Trees, water, fresh air, and natural light give the brain a break from constantly being “on”.
Nature may not solve the day’s problems, but it will create the mental zen that helps 𝙮𝙤𝙪 solve them.
Leave the office, feel the sun, smell the grass, listen to the wind for a few minutes.
